Welcome to Kindergarten!

Woohoo! There are so many precious firsts in a child's young life! First steps, first words, first adventures, and the first day of kindergarten! While it often marks the start of being a big kid, your child's teacher knows that just a few short years ago, your little one was just learning how to walk and talk! Rest assured that their daily trip to school will end with warm smiles, friendly hugs, and lots of developmentally appropriate learning activities to help build a life long love of learning. The first few days and weeks of kindergarten, while exciting, are often pretty tough on little ones too. As you prepare to send your sweet learner off to school remember that limiting after school activities and sticking to an appropriate bed time will significantly help! As the first days of school draw near, help your child to get plenty of rest by practicing an early bed time. Practice opening lunch boxes and packaging will be appreciated in the lunch room!
